Privacy policy

What you tell us. When you fill in a form, we collect your name, phone number, preferred language, what you write about your situation and, on the contact page, your email address if you give it. If you use the live chat, the chat team collects what you type there.

What your browser sends. When you send a form, we also record your IP address, your approximate location based on it (city, state, ZIP code), your device and browser type, the page you sent it from, and how you found us (for example a Google search, an ad or a link from another site).

We don’t ask for Social Security numbers, medical records or payment details on this website. Please don’t send them through a form or the chat.

We use your information to:

• call you back about your free case review and decide whether we can help
• keep a record of your request so our team can follow up
• understand which pages, searches and ads bring people to us, so we can improve the site
• protect the site from spam and abuse

If you give us your email address, we send one automatic email confirming we received your message. We don’t sell your information, we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing, and we never send marketing emails or messages to people who fill in our forms.

We set one cookie of our own, ssl_attr, that remembers how you first arrived on the site (for example, which search or ad) for 90 days, so a later request can be credited to the right source. It holds no name or contact details.

We also use Google Tag Manager, which may load Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags, and Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. Google may set its own cookies; you can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

We share your information only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you:

• Vercel, which hosts the website
• SendGrid (Twilio), which delivers form submissions to our intake team by email
• our database provider, which stores form submissions
• Client Chat Live, which runs the live chat
• Google, for analytics and ad measurement

We may also share information if the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena or court order.

Sending a form, chatting or calling us doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship. That only happens once you sign an agreement with the firm. We still treat what you tell us as confidential and share it only as this policy describes.

We keep form submissions as long as we need them to respond to you, run the firm and meet our legal and professional obligations. If you become a client, your information becomes part of your case file and is kept under the Florida Bar’s record-keeping rules.

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we’re not required to keep it. Call us at 844-SUN-SHINE or send a request through our contact page.

The site uses HTTPS, and access to form submissions is limited to our team. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If a child was hurt, a parent or guardian should contact us.

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
